What is the key to successfully mixing prints? I think it involves pairing a loud print with a muted print. That’s exactly what I did with this outfit. This particular weekend I was looking for something to wear to my dad’s birthday dinner. I knew we’d have dinner then maybe do some shopping, so I wanted to wear something nice and comfortable.
Jeans and flats were a given. I found this red and white striped blouse at TJ Maxx that I decided to add to the look. Since it was chilly, I knew I needed a jacket, but I didn’t want to wear the typical black, brown or navy blue color. I grabbed my camo jacket and the look just worked! Although the camouflage jacket is a print, it gives off an understated look when paired with the boldness of the red and white striped blouse.
